11-month baby survives fall from third floor

It was a miraculous escape for an 11-month baby girl, Ishita Shah, who survived a fall from the third floor of a residential colony in the Satellite area almost without a scratch.
“It is a miraculous escape for this child who has suffered no bleeding or injury despite falling from a height of 300 feet. We have performed CT scan and carried out all tests and she is perfectly normal except for a minor crack in the foot”, said attending doctor at Thackersinh Hospital, Kamlesh Gajjar.
Ishita had toppled over from the balcony of her maternal grandparents’ flat in P & T Colony when her mother left her alone for a few seconds to fetch a change of clothes. “She just flipped over the cot on which I had put her. I became hysterical and was sure that she would die. I thank God for saving her and that too without any injury”, Ishita’s mother Chetna told.
